Extract The Information From The Nemesis

I have an extract for you guys today! And it's a hum-dinger! So much so, I am closing the Nemesis blog tour!

As you guys know, I love a good thriller. So, when I was asked if I wanted to be involved in the blog tour for Anthony Riches's Nemesis, I jumped at it. I'm not sure why, but this gave me strong vibes of crime thrillers I have been binge-watching during the UK's lockdowns and it just sounded perfect for me to read (Will hopefully do a review in the coming few weeks) and to chat about.

Mickey Bale is an elite close protection officer. Which is why the Met Police has given his one fo the toughest jobs in the current climate: guarding the Minister of Defence at the moment when Chinese-British relations is at breaking point.

But Mickey's is only working on. He's secretly waging war on a powerful London mafia gang family. One of their dealers supplier the ecstasy pill that killed his sister and Mickey wants them to suffer. He wants to take them down, one by one.

But how far is he going to go? Will his Met colleagues realise that the man on an underworld killing spree one of their own? Or will he get away with it?

You see why I HAD to be involved in this!

And, because of this, I was kindly given an extract to share with you all and I hope you like. But before I do, some house keeping. I would like to thank Victoria at Head of Zeus for asking me to be involved in this tour and being very kind for allowing me to have an extract for my stop. And, if you want to say hi to the author, Anthony Riches, you can say hi to him via his Facebook (@AnthonyRichesAuthor) or his Twitter (@AnthonyRiches). Also, if you want more info on Nemesis, you can visit Head of Zeus's website

With all that out of the way, ONTO THE EXTRACT!

Dangerous Remedy Extract Time

BLOG TOUR ALERT! And we are going to French Revolution time in this whirlwind of a read. We have fighting, queer romance, diversity. Basically, everything I should be devouring as a reader!

For those not sure about this, Dangerous Remedy follow Camille, a revolutionary's daughter, leader of a band of outcasts. A runaway, a deserter, an aristocrat in hiding. They try and save lives of those who will meet the edge of the blade. But their latest rescue isn't what it seems to be. This girl is no aristocrat, but her dark and disturbing powers means both sides of the revolution - the Royalists and Revolutionaries - want her.

The question is: who or what is she?

I am thrilled to have an extract for you guys to wet your appetites! And it's a good'un! I promise! It's good!

Now, before I go any further, I want to quickly thank Jade at Head of Zeus for allowing me to tag along this tour, even though much cooler and more badass book bloggers are on the tour!

Girl. Boy. Sea. Tour.

Blog tour alert! And I have an extract to share with you!

Girl. Boy. Sea. follows the unpredictable ocean, survival, and the unlikely friendship between two very unlikely people.

British teen Bill survives the sinking of his yacht during a terrible storm off the coast of Morocco. After many days alone at sea, Bill is saved by another survivor from the same storm. Aya, from the nomadic Berber tribe, was on a migrant ship. As the two survive the vast empty sea, hungry, sea burnt and with no idea on what to do, Aya tells the tales of Shahrazad of the Arabian Nights, who told 1000 stories to stay alive from the murderous Persian King.

As they, somehow, find the strength to survive, they discover a small desert island. But a shadow is on the island, as there is in the deep blue, waiting...

I am intrigued over this our it feels both very out of my comfort zone and yet, very comfortable within it. And I think you guys will enjoy the adventure! As I said, this is an extract and the rest of the tour will give you a mix of reviews, extracts, guest posts and interview so follow away.

Now, before I give you the extract, I just want to thank Jade from Head of Zeus for asking me if I wanted to be involved in this tour. Now, if you want to say hi to Chris Vick, you can pop over to his website - christophervick12.wixsite.com - or say hi to him on Twitter at @chrisvickwrites. Plus, if you want to know more about Girl. Boy. Sea., you can go over to Head of Zeus website.

Now, ONTO THE EXTRACT!!!

Winds of Change

HAPPY WORLD BOOK DAY EVERYONE!!!

To celebrate this, I would like to welcome Fiona Kennedy to the Pewter Wolf. You might not know of Fiona but she is the publisher of the new Children/YA imprint coming from Head of Zeus, Zephyr.

When this news was announced, I emailed Head of Zeus, curious on Zephyr's first publication, The White Hare by Michael Fishwick. What I got back was a lovely email from Fiona. We chatted and she agreed to write a small guest post for the blog, chatting about Zephyr's creation and what they hope to achieve.

So, before I hand you over to Fiona, I just want to thank her for finding the time to write this. I know she must busy at the moment so thank you. Now, dear readers, am handing it over to Fiona!
